FatalGuard

Pro: stealth mode

On client sites you often don’t want your monitoring stack visible in their dashboard — it invites questions, accidental deactivation, or “what’s this?” support tickets. Stealth mode hides FatalGuard from every administrator except the ones you allowlist.

Set it up

  1. Go to FatalGuard → General.
  2. In Stealth allowlist, add the email addresses of the admins who should see FatalGuard — one per line (usually just you and your team).
  3. Save.

Now, for any administrator not on that list, FatalGuard is hidden:

  • it doesn’t appear in the Plugins list, and
  • its admin-bar entry is gone.

Admins on the allowlist see everything as normal.

Notes

  • Stealth only affects visibility. The plugin keeps running and catching fatals for everyone — it’s just not shown to non-allowlisted admins.
  • Match the email addresses exactly as they appear on each WordPress user account.
  • Turn it off by clearing the allowlist.

Stealth is a Pro feature; on the free plan it shows as a preview.
